NATURE lovers with a sharp eye for a good picture will be able to put their skills to the test in an annual photography competition.
Bents Garden and Home in Glazebury are inviting people to submit their best images to the 2018 Bents Photography Competition with the chance to win £50 worth of vouchers and a framed copy of their print.
Now in its ninth year, the contest looks for pictures that capture the beauty of their surroundings, from gardens and flowers to landscapes and wildlife, before the closing date of Wednesday, February 28.
There will also be 20 shortlisted entries displayed at the Warrington Road centre throughout March, and on Bent's Facebook page where customers will be able to vote for their favourite picture with the winner announced in April.
Managing director at Bents Garden and Home Matthew Bent said: “Each year the number and standard of entries increases and we are taken aback by the huge amount of talent out there.
"We would like to encourage as many entries as possible and are looking forward to the shortlisting process which is becoming a very challenging task."
