POLICE are hunting a man wanted in connection with a stabbing in Leigh.

Officers want to speak to Connor Hessell after an incident outside a nightclub on Railway Road in the early hours of Monday, April 17 last year when a 22-year-old man was stabbed causing a deep laceration to his chin.

Officers are also hoping to question the 21-year-old about an incident of affray which happened on Fell Street in Leigh on October 14 when a man was threatened at knifepoint.

Two other cases of criminal damage were also reported on Marshall Street and Opal Grove in the town later that night where car windows were smashed with a machete.

Hessell is aware he is wanted and is believed to be actively avoiding the police.

He is also known to have links to Leigh and Golborne as well as the Prestatyn and Rhyl areas of North Wales.
