THE future of an ale campaign group will be discussed at an Atherton pub this afternoon, Saturday.
Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) members from Greater Manchester are invited to meet at the Atherton Arms pub on Tyldesley Road from 1pm to 4pm to hear about an internal review, which includes recommendations to ensures the group adapts to the ever-changing beer world.
Chief executive of the 46-year-old organisation, Tim Page, and national director, Ian Hill, will be in attendance to answer questions about the review, called the Revitalisation Project, with members given the opportunity to vote on the recommendations.
CAMRA’s regional director for Greater Manchester, Graham Donning, said: “This is a great opportunity for all interested members to find out more about the changes which have been proposed as part of the Revitalisation Project.
"I would encourage any member in the local area who cares about the future of the organisation to attend.”
If the recommended changes are approved, they will be confirmed at CAMRA's annual general meeting in April.
