The competition is open for entries until May 31
BUDDING scriptwriters are being invited to put their creative skills to the test by entering a competition.
Writers in the Leigh, Atherton and Tyldesley area over the age of 16 will be able to send in their 10-15 minute scripts for the ScriptShop Shield contest.
The top six scripts will be performed on stage with cash prizes on offer for the top three.
There is a £2 entry fee competition with the deadline for entries set for May 31.
The event is being run by Tyldesley Creative Writers and Leigh and Atherton Writers.
