THE temperature is set to drop once again this week with snow predicted across the north west during tomorrow morning's rush hour.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of snow and ice as temperatures plummet to -2 degrees in the early hours of tomorrow, Tuesday.

A Met Office spokesman added: "A spell of rain, quickly turning to sleet and snow, will move southeast across the UK on Monday night and Tuesday, gradually weakening across England and Wales.

"Some roads and railways may be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services."

The warning is in place from 8pm tonight, Monday, to 3pm tomorrow, Tuesday.
