Pennington F.C has been given a new football kit by McDonald’s restaurant and its franchisee Lawrence Hilliker.
The team met McDonald’s area manager Henry Malone at their Jubilee Park base in Atherton to celebrate its new kit.
The sponsorship is part of the fast-food restaurant and FA ‘s Accredited Club Kit Scheme.
Youth and Junior age group secretary for Pennington F.C, Stephen Woodward, said: “We are very grateful to McDonald’s and Henry Malone for his continuing support of the club.
"Having the kit has created fantastic unity and team spirit and given the players extra motivation to train and have a great season.”
McDonald’s has been supporting children and young adults to play and enjoy football for 15 years.
Henry Malone, who supervises five McDonald’s restaurants, added: “Pennington F.C is a fantastic example of a grassroots club with a real community spirit.
"It is important that we support local teams to help them create the best possible experience for young aspiring players."
