A HINDLEY dance studio has been inspired by a popular TV show to give the younger generation in the borough a chance of success.

Hurst Dance Studios, which is based at The Palace Ballroom on Market Street, is emulating Channel 5’s Baby Ballroom by providing children from the age of three a chance to compete for titles.

The studio is holding its baby ballroom classes on Tuesdays from 4.45pm to 5.30pm for children aged from three to six and 5.30pm to 6.30pm for dancers over the age of six on the same day.

Owner Philip Hurst, who runs the studio with his wife Kathryn, hope to get young dancers up to a standard to enter competitions at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
