A MUM who starred in a video with her daughter to raise awareness of World Down Syndrome Day has spoken of her joy after it was viewed millions of times.
Sarah Gregory and her daughter Emily, four, from Leigh, use sign language to Christina Perri's multi-platinum selling track A Thousand Years in a carpool karaoke lip sync video with 50 mums and their children, who have Down Syndrome.
The video, which is titled 50 Mums 50 Kids 1 Extra Chromosome, has been viewed more than 2.7 million times online.
It was organised by the Facebook support group Designer Genes, which was set up for parents that have a child with Down Syndrome who were born in 2013 and 2014.
Sarah, 34, who appeared on Granada Reports yesterday, Wednesday, with her husband James, 35, and Emily, said: "I am really pleased with how popular the video has been.
"I have not seen World Down Syndrome Day getting as much awareness on this scale before- the attention has been absolutely crazy.
"The response we have had to it is completely what all the families are trying to do in the community to educate people about Down Syndrome."

Her friend Emma Kirk, from Wigan, also starred in the video with her daughter Lana, four.
Emma and Lana go to classes at a organisation in the borough called FunBox Jo which teaches people how to do "signing".
