THIS is the scene after a car crashed into a telegraph pole in Leigh following a police pursuit.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) shared the images of the damaged Toyota Yaris on social media yesterday afternoon, Tuesday.
The driver reportedly fled on foot after crashing the vehicle.
It has not been announced on what road the incident happened or why the chase started.
Officers are examining forensic evidence left on an airbag which was set off during the collision.
A GMP spokesman said: "Enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver.
"Thankfully there were no injuries to anyone."
