A BUSINESS bus tour will return to the borough twice this year.
Companies are able to sign up for the “Coaching to Success” tour which will take them to community groups that will show them ways of helping residents.
It will also provide opportunities for companies to develop relationships with each other and work together in the future.
The tours will take place on Thursday June 7 and November 1.
It is part of Wigan Council’s Deal for Business.
Councillor David Molyneux, deputy leader of Wigan Council and portfolio holder for economic development and regeneration, said: “We are committed to encouraging our local economy thrive and a major part of that is building relationships with the community.
“Community groups see the challenges and successes of local areas first hand, so they are in prime positions to tell businesses how they can help and do their bit.”
