POLICE searching for missing man Scott Sharples have found the body of a man in Wigan.
Formal identification has not taken place yet but officers believe it be missing dad-of-three from Brookdale Road, Hindley, who was last seen in March.
A spokesman for GMP Police said: "Shortly after 3.45pm on Thursday 17 May, police were called to reports that a body had been found in woodland off Hindley Mill Lane, Wigan.
"Officers attended and found the body of a man believed to be in his 20s.
"Enquiries surrounding the death are ongoing, but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be passed to the coroner."
Formal identification has not yet taken place but it is believed to be the body of 28-year-old Scott Sharples.
He was last seen on Chapel Fields Lane at around 10.30am on March 20.
Scott has three daughters, Codie-Leigh, six, Tia-Rayne, two, and Lainey-Lou, one, with his partner Suzanne Price.
