AN author is reading his books to dementia sufferers to offer them a slice of nostalgia.
Ted Dakin, 87, visits dementia cafes across the borough in sessions called Ted Listens and reads extracts from his books which tell tales from his upbringing.
Ted’s wife Barbara died last year after suffering with dementia.
He sells his books with proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Society.
