A GREYHOUND at a rescue centre has been named Meghan which gives her a Royal link with another dog that she now lives with called...yes you've guessed it, Harry.
Makants Greyhound Rescue North West in Tyldesley asked for suggestions to name the new arrival on its Facebook page after the centre rescued the three-year-old two weeks ago.
When the name of Meghan was put forward, it fitted perfectly with the pairing of Harry and the timing of the Royal Wedding last Saturday.
The pair were pictured together at the Mort Lane Centre ahead of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding.
Harry, four, has been at Makants for seven weeks and has been awarded Dog of the Month for May.
