FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at a derelict building last night, Thursday.
Three fire engines were sent to the site on Market Street in Hindley around 8.15pm where they used two hose reels, four breathing apparatus and a short extension ladder to extinguish the flames.
The crews were in attendance for one hour and 15 minutes.
