GYM members and instructors have taken part in a 24-hour cycling challenge in aid of a children’s charity.
A group of 18 people spent time on a spinning bike at Powerbeck Gym in Leigh to support Destination Florida.
The charity organises trips to the American state every two years for around 72 children with life-threatening and life-limiting medical conditions and their parents or guardians from across the north of England to visit its major theme parks.
The event took place on Sunday, May 20, from 6am.
A raffle was also put on by the gym with a range of prizes handed out.
Around £2,500 has been raised for the charity. To donate to a crowdfunding appeal set up by the gym to raise money for Destination Florida visit bit.ly/2KRL0QK.
