A SHOPLIFTER who stole seven laptops, two TVs and more than £2,000 has been jailed.
Paul Hilton, of no fixed abode, made his way into The 180 Club on Railway Road in Leigh between April 6 and 8 and took the electrical equipment and £2,350 in cash.
The 36-year-old pleaded guilty when he appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
In committing the crime, he breached a suspended sentence given to him last May for a public disorder offence.
Hilton was sent to prison for 164 days and ordered to pay a compensation fee of £200.
