Burglars strike as police issue warning over Hindley being 'hit hard by thieves'
A NINTENDO games console and a mountain bike were stolen as burglars struck at a Hindley home.
The break-in took place on Windemere Road, Hindley.
The mountain bike is described as grey and orange.
Police say the break-in is one of a series in the area.
In a warning, officers said: "Please lock up and set the alarms. Hindley is being hit hard by thieves who are targeting our homes during the day by smashing the rear windows".
People with information should ring 101.
