A DRINK driver has been banned after being more than two times over the limit.
Graham Mitchell, of Gibfield Drive, Atherton, was driving on Railway Road, Leigh, on July 13 when he was stopped by police.
A breathalyser test found that the 28-year-old had 84 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
He also admitted to a charge concerning the insurance of the vehicle he was driving and admitted that his licence did not allow him to drive the car he was behind the wheel of.
Mitchell was disqualified from driving for two years, fined £350, ordered to pay a victim services surcharge of £35 and court costs of £85.
He was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court yesterday, Wednesday.
