TWO people were rescued by firefighters last night, Thursday, after a crash involving three cars.
Fire crews and a technical response unit were sent to Manchester Road in Astley at around 8.10pm after a collision between a red MINI Cooper, a grey Volvo S90 and a silver Toyota Avensis.
Cutting equipment was used to free two people in the aftermath of the crash.
Paramedics were on the scene to treat three people for their injuries and another person was taken to hospital.
