POLICE are investigating have been launched after three cars were alight yesterday morning, Sunday.
Officers were called to Kirkhall Lane in Leigh just before 2am where two men allegedly set fire to parked Ford Fiesta.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Later on in the morning at around 6.20am on Cook Street, a blue Volvo S60 was ablaze.
Less than 10 minutes later, another car- a silver Vauxhall Corsa- was on fire on Gordon Street.
In regards to the latter two fires, a Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Police are investigating in order to establish if there is any link between the two incidents, which are both being treated as arson."

The incidents numbers for the Gordon Street blaze is 658 and the Cook Street fire is 649, both of August 19. The Kirkhall Lane incident number has not been provided.
