A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a two-car crash yesterday afternoon, Sunday.
One fire crew from Leigh was called to Slag Lane in Lowton at around 2.15pm where there was a collision between two vehicles.
Paramedics treated a woman in her 50s for neck and back injuries before she was taken to hospital.
Two other people were also given treatment at the scene.
There was no blaze at the incident but firefighters used absorbent mats to tackle a leak in the road coming out from the cars.
