POPULAR Leigh Folk Club resident band Calico have organised a Lancashire night with a difference.
Many people will remember the sell out Band in the Park' concert at St. Joseph's Hall when Calico and St Helens Youth Brass contributed to an unforgettable night of entertainment.
Now Calico have organised another to satisfy repeated requests for them to return to their roots by performing a Lancashire night featuring songs that made them one of the most popular folk groups in the North West during the 70s and 80s.
St Helens Youth Brass Band, led by Lynda Nicholson, will perform with Calico at the Lancashire night on Saturday, June 7 at St Joseph's Hall, Chapel Street, Leigh.

The curtain goes up at 7.30pm. There are bar and refreshments facilities and all proceeds with go towards the refurbishment of St Joseph's Hall and also to St helens Youth Brass Band.
