A DANGEROUS derelict building was made safe by firefighters.
Crews were called to the former bingo hall, at the back of Elliot Street, Tyldesley, at around 1.30pm yesterday.
A previous fire had caused damage to the building, making it structurally unsafe and metal bars were hanging from the roof.
The bars were removed, as were some loose bricks, and a building inspector was called in.
