A PUBLIC meeting to discuss the future of closure threatened Hesketh Fletcher High School has been called for Monday. (February 8).
Proposals to discontinue the Atherton school and enlarge Westleigh High School under Wigan’s Schools for the Future plan was referred to the schools adjudicator.
The adjudicator appointed to determine this case is Mr John Simpson who has called the meeting for 6pm to enable all those who wish to do so to present their views directly to him.
Parents have received a letter from his office inviting them to attend Anyone unable to be there, or who would prefer to put their comments in writing to the adjudicator, should send them to Phil Heaviside, Case Manager, Office of the Schools Adjudicator.
