AN Atherton man has admitted downloading child porn.

Dean Williams, aged 24, of Bolton Old Road, pleaded guilty at Liverpool Crown Court to 17 charges of making indecent photographs of children between June 11, 2006 and October 9, 2008.

He was remanded on bail to await sentence on April 29.
