Pylon puzzle solved

LOWTON reader Harb Jagait can now sleep at nights.

He has at last discovered what happened to the Wensley Road-Craven Avenue, Lowton, pylon he was puzzling about the other week - thanks to former Community Action Party councillor Ian Franzen.

He wrote to say the power lines were out of use for six months before they were taken down along with the pylon on June 29 2003.

He even attached photos showing its removal, which have been passed on to Harb.

Thanks Ian, another little poser solved.
