I HAVE ruined more t shirts than I care to remember while cooking.
Splash one bit of oil or tomato and that’s it, you might as well stick it in the duster bag because no amount of rubbing or stain removers will make it come up like new.
You know what I mean, you've done it.
Being a lazy shopper these days, I was looking in the numerous catalogues that drop through the door for replacements.
What bugs me is that plain round necked ones only seem to be sold in packs of three colours.
Fair enough, but typically I only ever want one colour that’s in the trio.
I would like a khaki one (so I have to buy a lemon and tangerine one as well – two colours that do not suit me at all), I would like a jade one (that goes with pink, a colour I do not like, and Wedgwood) and a bluebell one (that’s matched with cerise (pink again) and white (which I’m too dirty for).
What I would really love more than anything is a pack of three cream or fawn ones – and I can’t find those neutral colours in easy care t shirts, that’s those that don’t need ironing , anywhere.
