A YORKSHIRE lass, with a love for Leigh Atherton and Tyldesley, is appealing to locals to help boost her collection of Reginald Dixon (organist) and Reg Dixon (popular radio comedian of the 40s and 50s) memorabilia.
Thirty-five-years-old Di Wood is seeking donations of any of the Blackpool Tower organist’s LPs, 45s or 78 records, annual, ephemera, theatre tickets, programmes or autographs.
She would also like to get her hands on Reg Dixon’s trilbies, jokes, DVDs, videos and 78s on Decca including “Confidentially” “I Like to Do Things Like That” “I Can’t Cry Any More” “Confidential Lullaby and “I Belong to Coventry” in good playable condition.
If anyone can help - and they usually do - they can contact Di at 18, Downside Crescent, Allerton, Bradford, BD15 7LE West Yorkshire - or ring 07699 554032.
