IF only I'd thought of this piece of women's revenge I received by e-mail:
"Cash, cheque or charge?' I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase. As she fumbled for her wallet I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse. 'So, do you always carry your TV remote?' I asked. 'No,' she replied, 'but my husband refused to come shopping with me, and I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him legally.'
He indoors has nearly worn the Sky remote away. The back of it is all shapes and on rainy bank holiday Sunday I hit the roof after enduring watching about 50 programmes in the space of 10 minutes. Then he nodded off with it in his hand.
Is it any wonder the above communique gave me wicked thoughts? All men can't be the same, surely?
