BBC Manchester's Alan Beswick open Leigh Community Art Group's 2015 Summer Exhibition at the Turnpike Gallery.
More than 150 guests viewed the eclectic mix of work from amateur artist members of the group. The paintings are now on sale, in the gallery, to the general public until the 7th August.
Anyone interested in joining the group should go along to Leigh Sports Village, Leigh Harriers Club, on Monday evenings between 6.30 and 8.30. Artists at all levels would be most welcome. Call 07974 543123 for more details.
