St Elizabeth's Church, Horwich celebrates 40 years fellowship and worship.

Over the weekend of April 20/22, several events are planned to bring people back together to celebrate this Ruby Anniversary of the current church building on the site at Cedar Avenue.

Potato pie and social evening on Friday, Saturday the church will be open 10am-4pm for visitors with a fun day of activities between 12 noon and 2pm with fun, games and refreshments for all and a bouncy castle for the youngsters.

A reunite service will be held on the Sunday at 10am, the former Bishop of Manchester Christopher Mayfield will also rededicate the church. At 4.30pm there will also be a celebration praise service led by the combined music groups of the Horwich team of churches.
