Star student wins USA scholarship

STUDENT Tom Jackson has caught the eye of Union College in Kentucky, USA.
He has been offered a four-year scholarship starting in September.
Jackson has developed his game superbly in the two years he has been with the Leigh Genesis and Law Training Football scholarship programme.
The offer is no surprise to scheme manager Alan Kershaw.
“Tom has been catching the eye of a number of opposition coaches in the past few months,” he said.
The scholarship is looking to recruit good quality and development players into their scheme to start in September 2013.
