Mike honoured at conference

Long-serving Astley and Tyldesley club official Mike Hack was honoured at the recent Cycle Speedway Development Conference at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham.

Mike was presented with the Dave Blinston Memorial Trophy for winning the Cycle Speedway Referee of the Year Award for 2012.

Mike has been a referee since 1975 and an international referee since 2004, having taken charge of international matches, European and World Championship Finals both in this country and abroad.
