Life with the big boys gets off to a winning start

LEIGH East under 16s began life in the North West Youth Premier League in winning fashion against a big side.
After physical exchanges Mayfield led 18-6 but they tired and East took control.
Mayfield took the lead eight minutes from time following good support work.
Tries came from Shane Williams, Morgan Fearnley, Callum Houghton and Sam Arrowsmith, with Jordan Hill chipping in with three conversions and a penalty goal.
