LEIGH Centurions are working on two potential deals to boost an already healthy squad.
But there is nothing to report on new players at this stage.
Football director Derek Beaumont said: “From a squad point of view we’ve pretty much got where we need to be now.
“We are working on two deals, but our time on centre stage will come next month when the friendly fixtures start.
“It is now down to everyone, including the commercial side, to support the directors in trying to obtain the relevant sponsorship and season ticket sales to back up the budget that has been created for us.
“If you like, the commercial team have had their first two home games with the sponsors evening and shirt launch. They need to get their results right in order for things to gel together for when we hit the ground running in February.”
