Hindsford 0 East Manchester 0
TWO saves in the final five minutes, one from the penalty spot, saved the day for Hindsford football team on Saturday.
East Manchester’s top goal scorer of last season, Danny Wiiliams, saw his own spot kick stopped by keeper Matt Ince after having been felled in the area.
And then Ince turned the ball away to safety after it ricocheted off a few bodies towards goal.
Hindsford had created three or four decent openings in the second half that they would have expected to score from but in the end they were grateful to Ince’s heroics against a side that had finished runners up for the past two campaigns.
