THE Pelican Centre at Tyldesley will host the English Schools Swimming Association Girls’ Northern Water Polo Finals.

Leigh St Mary's are the current under 18s champions and were runners up in the under 16s competition.

An opportunity to defend their titles will come next month.

Manchester High School for Girls along with Kesteven and Grantham (Lincolnshire) will also contest the under 18s competition on February 25.

Those two along with Crompton House (Oldham) will be the rivals to the under 16s prize on February 12 from 10am to noon.

Leigh St Mary's, Manchester High School for Girls, Kings School ( Warwick) as well as Kesteven and Grantham will battle it out in the under 14s competition this Tuesday from 10am until 1pm.

The finals are supported by Swim North West, Tyldesley Swimming and Water Polo Club, Leigh St Mary's and the Pelican Centre Spectators are welcome to attend.
