AN eight-year-old gymnast is celebrating winning three gold medals.
Poppy Donohue won two of her gongs in the East Kilbride Invitational competition with her club trio, which also features Megan Killmurray and Emily Spratt, both aged 15.
Their successes came in tempo and balance routines.
The Gilded Hollins Community Primary School pupil also struck gold in a mixed pair event with Harry Latham, aged 12.
Poppy, who is the daughter of former Leigh and Bradford professional rugby league player Jason Donohue, attends Wigan Seagulls gymnastics group four times per week, training for around 12 hours.
