OUTDOOR summer cricket training at Leigh Cricket Club for boys and girls starts Friday, April 4.

The junior summer Friday night cricket training programme will re-commence at Beech Walk, Pennington on April 4, from 6pm.

The training is for children who are in school year reception to school year eight and will cost £3, with concessions for family members.

New players are welcome to join training, and maybe get selected for one of the junior teams at Leigh Cricket Club ranging from under nine through to under 15.

Leigh Cricket Club continues to be recognised by Lancashire Cricket Board as a Centre of Excellence for girls’ cricket too.

So why not come down, bring a friend and have some fun.

The bar will be open from 6pm for parents who are always welcome to remain for a drink while the children are having fun, and hot food is available during the evening.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Beech Walk for what is sure to be a busy summer, and hopefully a warm and fruitful one.
