LAUREN Tasker is representing England in the Commonwealth Games Water Polo Tournament in Aberdeen this week.

Honor Grimes, who was taught to swim and play water polo at Tyldesley, was also selected for England. Honor presently plays for the City of Manchester Water Polo team.

Honor also plays for the Leigh St Mary's girls’ water polo team which recently won the under 18s English Schools Championship for the third time.

In the first game England beat Wales 35-1, with Honor and Lauren both scoring.

IN the inter-regional youth girls’ water polo tournament Hayley Price and Robyn Mclean were selected for the North West who entered two teams.

The two North West got to the final and North West Lightning beat North West Thunder by 14 goals to 12 Hayley and Robyn were playing for North West Thunder International representation for Tyldesley.

LENS (League Europeene de Natation) held at MAC, Hayley Price and Lauren Tasker both represented City of Liverpool against teams from Italy, Greece, Hungary, Netherlands and Manchester.

Lucy Aspinall and Robyn Nicholls members of Tyldesley were also playing for City of Manchester in that competition.

Under 19s GB Squad: Grace Rowland, Lauren Tasker and Hayley Price chosen for this squad aiming towards European championships in September possibly in Rome.

Grace Morley, Hayley Price, Grace Rowland and Lauren Tasker represented City of Liverpool ASA born 96 and younger.

They have qualified for semi finals in April at MAC.

Under 17s GB Squad: Grace Rowland and Hayley Price chosen to represent Great Britain.

Under 15s GB Squad: Emmie Rose Eastwood and Stephanie Whittaker chosen to represent Great Britain and also train with the under 17s squad.

British championships: Lauren Tasker and Hayley Price represented Liverpool.

City of Manchester had held the title since 2008.

Liverpool beat Manchester in semis and Otter in final to win title.

Lucy Aspinall and Robyn Nicholls, members of Tyldesley, were also playing for City of Manchester.

In the ASA 98 Age Group, Robyn Mclean, Grace Rowland and Hayley Price represented Liverpool at Walsall and reached the finals to be held April at MAC.
