A YOUNG Astley and Tyldesley team travelled to Hull for the Northern Fours League match on Sunday and gained experience, if not points.
The team finished in sixth and last place, despite Reece Pollitt’s three second place and two third place finishes from his five races.
A and T scorers: Reece Pollitt 13, Ben Dickinson 6, Max Evans 6, Alex Semtyshin 5.
Riding in the earlier Northern Junior League matches, Dickinson and John White scored 13 and 10 points respectively in the under 10s match.
Semtyshin and Evans scored 13 and 11 points respectively in the under 13s match, while Pollitt bagged 12 points in the under 16s.
White was the top performer in the British Youth and Junior League North Regional round two at Bury on Saturday, winning the under 8s grand prix final.
Ben Dickinson took second place in the under 10s Grand Prix Final.
