HINDSFORD AFC chairman Paul Devlin has praised the club after they scooped a host of silverware this season.

Having retained the Manchester Premier Division for a third successive year, Hindsford added the Atherton Charity Cup, Gilgryst Cup and Norman Noden Trophy to their medal haul.

They also bagged the Bolton Hospital Cup at Bolton Wanderers’ Reebok Stadium to make it their most successful season to date.

“This has been an amazing achievement making this the most successful season in Hindsford’s history,” said Devlin.

“I wild like to thank our manager Lee Bennett in his first season in charge, Neil Critchley and Rob Valentine his assistants and all our committee supporters.

“Most of all our players for their outstanding commitment and attitude throughout this season our skipper Mark Chilton for his commitment over the last seven years.”
