A&T responded with successive 7-3 heat wins either side of the interval to open up a 53-45 lead. However, as before, Hull hit back, moving ahead by one point after heat 12.

In a dramatic finish, A&T banged in three successive maximum scores to finally put the match beyond Hull's reach and go 79-66 ahead.

The last three heats were played out without change with A&T running out 94-80 winners. A&T were solid scoring from one to eight, with Danny Hughes top scoring and the rest contributing well.
