MAX Quarmby enjoyed an unbeaten night of racing for Astley and Tyldesley in Round Two of the Go-Ride Grand Prix Series at Gin Pit.

Quarmby and teammate Lucy Grantham raced unbeaten in the qualifying races, before the former took the overall win after a tie-breaker.

Three riders finished on 13 points, so a run-off for third place was required and won by Emily Burgess, ahead of John White and Charlie Burgess.

Astley and Tyldesley continue to stage their popular weekly club training nights at the track located at the Astley and Tyldesley Miners' Welfare Club, Meanley Road, Gin Pit, Tyldesley.
