HOLDERS Leigh Miners Rangers booked their place in the Kingstone Press Cider National Conference Challenge Trophy quarter-finals with a win at Bradford Dudley Hill.
However, the Premier Division outfit were pushed all the way by their Division Two opponents who were level at 10-10 at the break.
Nathan Kitson and Neil Wall, two, crossed for the hosts’ touchdowns as Simon Sewell landed three goals.
Miners full-back Jonathan Youds was again in the points with a try and five goals, while the visitors’ other tries came from Andrew Groves, Sean McDonald, Jack Probert, James Muir, Scott O’Brien, Tom Parkinson and Tom Farrimond.
