TYLDESLEY schools came out on top in the Atherton and Tyldesley Sports Association play-offs.
Holy Family beat Meadowbank in the netball, while Sacred Heart triumphed over Parklee in the football at Fred Longworth High School.
ATSA lead teacher Mark Grogan said: "We have more exciting plans for next year, which include a mini water polo competition, two dance competitions and some inclusive sports for the children of Astley and Tyldesley.”
