Colls continue pre-season form

COLLS prepared for pre-season fixtures with Droylsden and Curzon Ashton by putting six past Lancashire Amateur Division Two side Farnworth Town.
The hosts took the lead on 12 minutes when Matty Boland fed Dylan Maloney, who took a neat first touch before chipping the advancing goalkeeper.
Boland headed the second into an empty net and then set up Jake Patton before the break, while Jordan Cover bagged twice after the interval and Jack Kenny added the sixth late on.
Colls welcome Atherton local and ex-Wigan Athletic man Greg Strong’s Rhyl to Alder House on Tuesday, 7.30pm.
