ASTLEY and Tyldesley staged round three of the Tour de France-inspired Go-Ride Grand Prix series at Gin Pit in conjunction with British Cycling.

Of the 27 riders, many were competing for the first time with the field split into two matches.

Max Quarmby won the younger event with a maximum score, finishing ahead of Lucy Grantham and Frank White.

John White raced unbeaten to win the older event, finishing ahead of Ben Dickinson and Jamie Hill.

Under 10s British Club Championship runners-up A&T dominated round five of the Manchester League Grand Prix at Bury.

Ben Dickinson scored a 16-points maximum, Emily Burgess dropped one point while Joe Quarmby and John White both scored 14.

Max Evans rode hard for his 14 points in the under 13s match, while Reece Pollitt scored 11 in the under 16s match.
