Lee Toone
LEE Toone from Tyldesley Swimming and Water Polo Club swam Lake Windermere, which is 10-and-a-half miles long.
In doing so, he raised club funds that will help to assist with the cost of the women's water polo team playing in Division Two of the British Water Polo League.
He has raised over £1,000 for the club.
It took him nearly six hours to swim the lake.
Adam Toone and Dennis Price accompanied Lee in a safety rowing boat, which was some achievement as well.
