Leigh East u11s 28 - 6 Rylands

EAST put on an impressive display to beat a determined Rylands side. As the game got underway both teams began to test each other.

Some hard drives from the forwards gained good field position. A well worked set play saw Ben Molyneaux go over to open the scoring.

Rylands pushed back quickly and leveled the score.

With all to play for East changed up a gear, a fantastic jinking run by Jordan Fishwick saw him score and East regain control of the game leaving it 12 -6 at the half.

East exploded into the second half and showed some good attacking play. The team now dominated field position and Ryan Barnes was next to score after exposing a gap in the defensive line.

Rylands now really struggled to contain East and it wasn't long before Adam Jones went over to score.

East didn't let off and kept the tempo high. This paid dividends letting Taylor Pemberton score adding the icing to a fantastic team performance.

Leigh East u12s 8-30 Orrell St James East defence struggled to contain a well drilled St James outfit especially around the ruck, on a positive note East put some good attacking plays together and was more organised. East try scorer was Jack Holland who bagged 2 good trys from dummy half.

Leigh East u15s 36-6 Langworthy Reds
